Living for the Weekends
Tyson Ritter is really flipping attractive. Just putting that out there.
So today I’m going to tell you about how I am creating a time machine so I can travel back and relive this weekend because it was AWESOME.
On Friday (already wonderful by virtue of it’s being Friday) I went to go see The Good Doctor, which is a very funny series of stories acted out about all kinds of ridiculous characters—each scene based on a sketch by the writer Anton Chekhov. There is every kind of humor in this play. It is a delight to watch. Also, my friends had already bought tickets (most in the balcony) but when I got there every seat was sold out. However, there happened to be a woman by the door looking to sell a ticket she had bought for her niece who couldn’t make it to the US from Germany that weekend. Since it was ten til curtain, she gave me the $24 front row seat for $5. I had a better seat than any of my friends for half the price. Score.
Saturday we were supposed go swimming at the university’s indoor pool, but there was a swim meet. So instead, we went to the park and while mis amigos Brian Brian, Seth, and Justin played basketball, my roomie, Laura, my home girl, Jess, and I went tree-climbing in some really big nearby pine trees. We took pictures, of course.
That night I went with my friends Ari and Kyla to a random apartment party that turned out to be someone’s birthday. I will simply say that there is never a dull moment when the three of us are together. We didn’t get back until three in the morning. Yesssss.
The next day I slept in late and had a group interview for a summer job which I’m really hoping to get. I got called back for an individual interview, so keep your fingers crossed. Eeeeeeee.
Back to work. :)
