Back At School
Just took a 20 minute snooze in the sunshine on the green before I had class. Which I am clearly paying close attention to now. This has been a very chill Friday. I’m liking it. Especially since tonight Kyla and I are going to a rave (?) sponsored by our university.
Also, it’s finally cold enough for THE FIRST FLANNEL FRIDAY OF FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do hope you’re celebrating. This morning I had a thought that was sort of clever or maybe amusing, but I can’t remember what it was….
If I think of it, I’ll post it. Anyway, enjoy the beautiful weather. Feel it. Go out and enjoy breathing the air. Have a lovely weekend.
Lies
See, I knew I would procrastinate some more. I just thought of something.
The other night my friend Kyla came back from… a party or something, I don’t even know, and she was, um… not exactly herself if you know what I mean. It was pretty late so she decided to lie face down on my bed with her arms wrapped around her stuffed Appa (the flying bison from Avatar: The Last Airbender) underneath her.
Just lying there she mumbled, “Appa, you’re so soft, softy, softy, softy, softy like an ice cream cone………………… man.” A moment later she burst out almost angrily, “So high school!” Then she fell asleep. When she woke up, she pretended to fly out of the room, giving Appa a “yip yip” to get him going.
